Hi,

I am new to this forum.

During the days of DOS, I wrote a programming language which I named ShowText. Using my ShowText programming language, I wrote several (80x25 color ASCII text) games. These games will run in DosBox.

They are available at: http://www.desktopgadgets.org/showtext_games.zip

You can run the GAMES.BAT batch file for a menu which can be used to select the games or you can run the games individually from the DOS prompt.

The games are pretty simple, but I hope you enjoy them.

Awesome!!! Brings me back to old days when I used to play ASCII games in school while my typing teacher wasn't looking. The game was called "PopGames" and opened a small window while you were in another program. Your games remind me of that.

Wiggle Worm is my favouraite so far.

Good job. Thanks for making them available.

For anyone interested in playing around with my ShowText programming language, you can download the entire language package at:
http://www.desktopgadgets.org/shwtxt22a.zip

This package contains the compiler and the ShowText source code for all of the games.

This software package is provided as-is with NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT whatsoever, mainly because I have not worked on it since 1998. 😀
