Hi there ! I would really be gratefull if there is a way to play Shellshock on Dosbox.I use the latest 0.74 version but the game keeps crashing the moment i run the main executable(Main.exe).If i try to run without sound the game works perfectly and you can go anywhere in the tank hanger and play the main missions perfectly (The tank simulator crashes but this was a bug in the game which the developers said they were going to fix it but they never did).I tried messing with reduced cycles,changing the computer type to 486,changing the sound card to sb1,sb2,sbpro1,sbpro2 etc...without any luck at all... I didn't have any such problems with any other game and i even tried running dosbox in a different os (win xp sp3 ) to see if maybe the problem was that i am running vista32 sp2...But still exactly the same thing happened.
Really its one of my old time favourite games i used to play for hours back then so i struggled for hours trying to make it work but without success .I even tried changing the irq/dma setting/frequency quality levels ,copying the cd files (image) on the hard drive and running the executable without installing the game but...the same thing happens...And playing without sound simply feels wrong...🙁
Any suggestions ?
