1) Stone Mist (Shareware version) --> It crashes right after starting a game. The game then exits to DOS and thaks the player "for playing "Stone Mist 2". I have doubts that this is a complete version, be warned.

Also, the sounds music heard at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk-PvYQ_C1Q doesn't play. Maybe it's a feature available in the registered version only.

2) Motocross (AKA Suzuki's RM250 Motocross) --> All version I've seen of this game need a joystick (real or emulated) in order to play. Problem is, it works as if it needed calibration, but I can't find the option or the key combination to do it anywhere.

If you run DW3-3.EXE directly you'll see an error message that explains the problem, but when it is run from the batch file that error message is erased by ENDGAME.EXE, oops.

It needs CT-VOICE.DRV in the game directory for SB sound effects, and I also had to set irq=5. You will probably have to set sbtype= to match the driver you choose, and SB16 versions of the driver are only working in SVN.

Note that CONFIGP.EXE in the batch file sets a time delay according to the type of processor, not actual performance. With default settings it detects a 486 and sets a delay that is too much for the default 3000 cycles; so you can either significantly increase cycles, or edit TIMER.CFG to a delay of 0 and then run DW3-3.EXE directly, I prefer the latter.

About the music: the video you linked shows version 1.3, but I could only find version 1.0 that has no music, so maybe you just need to find the later version.

For the game with the joystick issues, what have you tried to fix it? Changed timed= setting? Different amounts of cycles?

1) Got "Stone Mist 2" working, thanks for the tips.

2) About "Motocross": Right again, the key seems to be in the timed intervals value. What annoys me is that I'm pretty sure I once found a version that worked with the keyboard, but can't find it now.
