Help - Dell Venue 8 pro, dosbox crashes

Hallo,

hoffe das mir geholfen werden kann. Habe das Dell Venue 8 pro Tablet mit Windows 8.1 32 Bit.
Habe versucht Dosbox zu installieren, hat geklappt, jedoch wenn ich versuche Dosbox zu starten
Erscheint für ca. 1/100 Secunde das Dosbox Fenster und schließt sich sofort wieder.
Habe versucht mit verschieden Kombatibilitätseinstellungen, ohne Erfolg, immer das gleiche.
Angeblich sollte Win 8.1 32 Bit auch mit 16 Bit Programmen zurecht kommen. bei mir jedenfalls nicht.
Getestet wurde Dungeon Keeper (GOG) und Magic Carpet 2. Wenn ich versuche Magic Carpet 2 unter
Der Win 8.1 zu starten, installiert es sich zwar, bricht aber mit einer Fehlermeldung, Fullsceen Modus nicht möglich oder so.
Ich verzweifle schon.

The DOSBox we're talking about is based on
[ ] 16 bit
[ ] 32 bit
[ ] 64 bit

One who knows the correct answer, please tick it. 😉

"Dungeon Keeper (GOG)" should be ready for 32 bit at least.

Hallo,

it is the Version for 32 Bit OS.
After clicking the Dosbox Icon, a Windows apears for a very short time (1/2 sec) and closes automaticly without
a error Message. I worked with dosbox on a Surface pro 2 (64 Bit) without any Problems.

Another question:
Me, DOSBox quits immediately when I try to run it with language files
which are not compatible the the version of DOSBox they are designed for,
or by using language files which are faulty.

Hello,

i did Not change anything. I downloaded the Software, installed it (erverything Default, only d: as Installation Location).
I die the Same on the Surface pro 2 without Problems.

I got it, Dosbox Needs a Keyboard and Mouse conected. Now it works!

Hi, Help Please
Dell Venue Pro W8.1 SP0 32 bit. Dos Box crashes on startup with consul window error flash. Using W98 compatibility and 640 by 480 screen and many reps, I think the error message is
Exit to error: can't init SDL: Direct Input: Create Device: Device not registered
What do I do now to get it to run?
