I've been trying to put my orion burger game working. The setup works fine and it install well. But when I type "Orion" to start the Game a error message shows up and dosbox closes it self.
The error message is this: "Exit to error: CPU:GRP5:Illegal Call 7"
Not sure what it means, if someone could help out i would be truly appreciated.
Maybe check the sound settings of the game.
in the game i'm puting soundblaster (i think its the only one that will work anyway)
Try without sound first.
Also see if running loadfix before starting the game helps,
or disabling some stuff from your dosbox.conf (ems,xms,ipx).
after all this days trying i finaly came up with a way of putting it working not even sure how but its working fine now 🤣, ty for the help 😀
I am trying to play Orion Burger too with DosBox. I had no problems with the setup. After the installation i have this line c:\BURGER and i need to write ORION into it. I get this message then: "Checking CD-ROM. This will take 10 to 25 seconds depending on your CD drive... Stack fault". What is this error and how can i solve it? I used the Original CD for the setup.
Get the DOS32A extender here: http://dos32a.narechk.net
Put DOS32A.EXE in the game's installation directory, and then instead of running ORION.BAT to start the game, use this command instead: dos32a burger.exe -c
Using a different extender in this way effectively bypasses the Laserlok copy protection used by Orion Burger.
