I am trying to get UNIVBE sorted for VESA 2.0 on my 5x86 160 running a 2MB TSENG ET4000/W32p VLB gfx card. I can't recall any of the demo scene productions that supported a screen res notably higher than 320x240. Anyone know of any? I found some using 15-bit and 16-bit color at 320x240, just not higher res.

Thanks.

Well try:
Sleepless / Smash Designs
Event Horizon
The Fulcrum / Matrix
Moral Hard Candy?
Tour / The Pulse

Nice selection, but hardly any fun on a 5x86 😉

😀 Yea, half require a Pentium (citing MMX) and the Matrix demo is quite slow for most parts. I watched Event Horizon on YouTube. That little blue guy in the cave is somehow horrifying.

Any other ideas for 486-class (5x86) machines that take advantage of VESA 2.0 high res? I have a number of demos that use 16-bit 320x200 that run just fine, btw.
