so for some reason my KVM switch suddenly quit working or rather it would switch the keyboard and mouse but, the screen stays blank, switched to another KVM switch same things... oh well it must be the monitor... NOPE stills works directly hooked to the PC but, not with either KVM switch. KVW switch have their own cables soldered/molded in so it's not cable issue....

and that is truly deserving of a "son of bitch!"

unless the monitor friend in such a way it only works hooked up directly but, that seems nearly impossible.

well that or my VGA KVM fried and a VGA monitor can't be used on a DVI switch with a dvi to VGA adapter.

the switch that was working and quit is VGA the one o\i have on hand is DVI.

Maybe the DVI switch does not pass DVI-A?

my guessing, gonna get a second one of the one that stopped working from neweg or amazon or something and hopefully every thing will work like it did before. or maybe see what i get from work maybe a dual which i'm not sure have hotkeys or a quad. might actually be able to use a quad.
