Really not sure if this is appropriate here. But when my d.com stopped working in 64-bit OS, I went looking for a replacement and ended up writing my own (after studying someone else's similar program's code.) I've attached the DOS version here and am hoping people are willing to test it out. I've pushed it and think it's bug free. It is basically just a color coded formatted directory listing (with browsing mode if the display is more than one page.) it comes in 2 flavors, the .com file (which should be faster, or so I'm informed,) that is limited to around 1600 entries in a directory, and the .exe version that is limited to around 2800. That should be sufficient for most needs though 😀
