On the Intel website this is stated:

- Driver updates and Intel(R) PROSet for Windows Device Manager for these Intel(R) Ethernet adapters are not available for download.
- These adapters are only supported by the drivers included "in box" with Microsoft Windows* 7 and Windows* Server 2008 R2.

I suspect this means only the base functionality is provided and the control panel from XP will be missing? Seems strange enough that they wouldn't offer those drivers for download if the OS in question is supported... I would need the network bridge function to work, in particular. Anybody here ran this card on 7?

Set it up now. The control panel is indeed a lot more basic than it was in XP, but at least some of the settings are there. So far this card appears to work fine in Win7.

Oh, this threw me off a little because I know I have a couple Pro 1000's from an old Disney server I bought, but they are PCI-X. I've never tried them in 7, though.
