can dosbox access an isa i/o card? i have an old computer running windows 3.11 and wanted to put linux on it with a dos emulator. i need the dos emulator to have raw access to the isa card. the isa io card is a controller for a data processing machine. the program to run the data machine needs dos 6.x i think, maybe 7.

do isa cards have a memory range that needs to be accessed? and irq.

is it possible to install a driver under linux then map the memory range under dosbox?

are there any other dos emulators that might work with this?

thanks

isa devices are not friendly to install on linux, especially on an older machine... linux is not a friendly os at all... 😁
