I've just recently re-installed an old DOS-application to my Cpu, but as my cpu runs Windows XP, I have to use an application such as DOS-Box to run the program..

Now, here is my problem.
To access the DOS-program in question, I have to type a password. And the password that I need to type includes the letter 'ø', which does not exist on an english keyboard. There, the letter 'ø' is instead a ; ... Now, in DOS-Box it doesn't seem possible to activate any other keyboard-setting than the english one.

Does anyone have a clue of what I can do to solve my problem? Is there any way I can type the letter ø on the english keyboard?

... any hints most welcome.

short answer:
no.

Long answer:
Dosbox emulated a english keyboard layout.

There are some attempts by users to add their own keyboard layouts to dosbox. But these aren't supported by the authors.
You could try to run xkeyb.com with the proper keyboard layout (seems to work for french people)

This might work.
If u press and hold one of the ALT buttons(Not sure wich)
and then type in the correct three numbers on the keypad,
u should be able to produce an ø.
Can't be more spesific cuz I don't remember the code(s)
and I don't have my old DOS manual where the correct combination's are.
