I have this old dot matrix printer which I use to print out receipts from a DOS app which runs in a Windows DOS box.

The problem showed up when I tried to print a bank statement which is a PDF. Printer went mad and offset the whole thing like half a page to one side. Printout is also not quite readable... any ideas?

Cheers

Is it just this one PDF document that is problematic?

I'd try this:
- Check if you've selected correct paper size.
- Change driver. You have two different drivers for LQ printers in Windows (Epson LQ-100 scalable font and Epson ESC P2).
- Try different Adobe Reader.
- Try converting PDF to DOC or get a non PDF version of a bank statement.
- Reboot Windows 😉

I'm using the default Windows XP driver ESC P2. I'll see, if printing from Word works fine. Thanks.
