No sound

I'm still new to using DOSBox and so far I think it rocks. The only problem is that I'm having a problem with sound. Well..the problem is that the is NO sound. Below is my system info from what I can figure out. I have read a few of the readme files but nothing has worked so far. Please help!

PS..It's been a while since I've used does. How do I make .bat files again?

Here is a list of my PC components that I have been able to figure out.
Processor type and speed - Intel P4 2.00GHz
Amount and type of RAM - 256 Mb
Video board w/ RAM amount and type - Nvidia GeForce Max 420 , Ram ?
Sound board - Creative SB Live! Wave Device
Operating system - Windows XP
Game name - Darklands Version 483.07
Version of emulator - DOSBox v.61

Batchfiles are simple textfiles with commands in it, one per line, you can use any texteditor (notepad is ok) to edit them.

With sound: did you try other games or only one?
Configure your game to use a simple dude soundblaster card.
