I've played throughout all of the Forgotten Realms Goldbox AD&D games....I finally beat the last battle against Gothmenes (not counting Dave's Challenge) and just as the character is looking at the Crystal of Bane shattering; the game crashes and goes to a different prompt.

I've tried different versions of Dosbox, I've looked for different versions of Pools of Darkness, I've tried a save file at the same spot I was at with someone else's saved game, it all crashes at the same spot.

IF this is the one spot that's a problem, I just need to get past it. Is there any setting to overcome this, or maybe a different DOS emulator I can use to get past this point and then go back to Dosbox?
