Hi guys!

I've open a ticket on sourceforge but maybe it's not the good way to ask so I copy paste there. 😀

I have an iso of Mechwarrior 2, then launch with:

dosbox -c "mount c: /opt/game/mw2" -c "c:" -c "MECH2.EXE" -c "exit"

Whatever the output option I choose in dosbox-0.74.conf (overlay,surface,opengl) it's still very dark, I don't understand why... I've test many things (dosbox and not, like xgamma) but the darkness doesn't move... 🙁

I send a png to display what is expected and what I got.

If you any of you have time, could him reproduce the problem? I just want to know if I'm alone to have this problem.

Thanks in advance! 😀

Thanks for your answers. 😀

@truth5678
I've edited my message to avoid troubles. I have the real copy but it's on my parent's house at the other side of the planet. 🙁

@leileilol
Thanks for your feedback. So the problem is on my side. I will investigate. 😀

The HUD looks like it are the right colors.
Could it be a nightmission and you need to turn on nightvision or something?

Yes, the HUD colors are always good. 😀

No, every mission seems to have this "color behavior".

I've digg over the internet and it's very hard to know if this is related to dosbox or not.

I've also provided a picture to display the difference on the same mission.

I may look subtle in the image but when you are un dark mission it's impossible to play at all. I wonder if "old CRT" was provided a better color curve. I've played a little with gamma values but, while providing kind of better lightin, colors are totally flat.
