Hi friends (and experts)

Can anyone tell me if there were ever any models of PCI Sound Blaster / Creative cards that had a jumper to set the IRQ?

I have a Vibra 128 PCI card with the correct DOS installer but whenever I use SBINIT it never detects the sound card. It is a thin client with one PCI slot and the BIOS does not let me select what interrupt I would like for device(s).

Cheers for any help

Short answer, no.

PCI determines IRQ by what slot the device sits in. however this can be changed in your bios.

DOS and PCI sound cards are more trouble than it's worth... stick to ISA, even if it's ISA PnP
