DOSBOX Megabuild with LPT Support - Problems printing on LPT1

Hi guys,

i hope anyone can help me with this problem!

I installed DOSBox MB 6 on an Windows 7 32bit machine, mounting my programfolder to and can run the Application normaly.
in the config i use printer=reallpt. When i go to the DOSBox and use "dir *.* >LPT1" the page will be print! So, i think the LPT1 Port will work fine!?

In my App (special DOS Management Software) i select the LPT1 for printing. But when is start print, the program shows error "Printer on LPT! is not right"

Did anyone have an idea what i can do?

1. Running non-gaming applications (such as "special DOS Management Software") is generally not advisable.
2. There have been many, many threads here in the past about printing from DOSBox. You can find them by searching.
3. Megabuild 6 is very outdated and you should consider using the SVN Daum version instead; it contains many of the same patches.
4. Try using "parallel1=file dev:lpt1" in the config, as per Printing from DOSBox .
