Nice. I like your style. The hair color is a good choice against the skin texture.

Fell back in love with Disciples, currently playing Sacred Lands. So this guy represents a dwarf guy with a flametrower 😀
I come from "You don't even wanna know huh?". It's dark, it smells the same as a place where people leave leftovers from a dark inner world that's fully automatic (with some exceptions), except infinitely worse; and rarely does it never have liquid. Yes I'm always pissed off. My name is Holering, yes that's me... You're never allowed to come in my house, even if you don't like it.
Self explanatory. If anyone wants to see the machine..
Using a XGA monitor from ~'94-'96
and a Compaq keyboard
I own too many computers to count.
My avatar is the AdLib logo. The image is from AdLib Visual Composer, a nice little music sequencer that was made for AdLib cards.
Mine's when Seth, Just Seth gets shot in the original C&C. It was one of the 1st times I was truly surprised by a game, not just entertained.
Plus C&C still is my favourite game so seems fitting
I'm Guybrush Threepwood, a mighty pirat!
MI2 is my most favourite game of all time.
So i use Guybrush as an avatar.
I'm selling these fine leather jackets!
Favorite ship, from Tiefighter.
Captain of my daughter's most favorite bathtub toy (a lego primo boat) since she was 2. She is almost 9 now and still plays with it during bath time.
I'm an AFOL by the way..😀

My Avatar is a logo of a little Computer company in Norcross Georgia that makes my favorite obscure old PC's, they're just whitebox clones. To me it's the apitamy of 80's vintage I.T. Cool.
The company is GEM Computer Products, owned by MEC, who also ran a chain of stores in the late 80's/early 90's in the southeast called C.MORE. They always had this wacky thing in on their Full Size AT machines of sticking rather tiny motherboards and bare minimum amounts of hardware in them.
I have had 2 of their PC's thus far....
This was the original, a 1986 GEM Computer Products 386 DX-20 (Though it was a Pentium in this picture). The original owner paid $3000 for it new, and it originally had a half height 40MB Seagate MFM HDD in it, Quantum PRoDrive LPS, and a Paradise PVGA1A card. It's the only full AT case I've seen that mimics the look of the Compaq Deskpro 8086/286/386, and my god do I want another one.
This is machine #2, a GEM 286 I bought off E-bay during the summer of 2005 right before moving to Washington. It's the one on my youtube channel that has graphical internet access over broadband via Arachne. Probably the most active 286 around that does as much productivity as gaming that's not in some embedded application.

Weird, I thought it was named Artax, not Artex.
There's some interesting stories floating around about the filming of that scene...
It is in the book (so I found out later)... To me (as a kid) it always sounded like "Artex" but I never changed my handle after finding out the spelling years later.
Hey Artex, guess what movie I'm watching tonight? 😁
Just watched the horse die... just got a little something in my eyes here... 😉

Check me out at Transcendental Airwaves on Youtube! Fast-food sucks!
Pretty sweet! I was thinking of creating a new avatar, but idk ldk what it should be of.
Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.

That's really cool! I think you meant CGA though 😉
How did you manage to create this 4 color version by the way?
Here is where my avatar comes from:
Mine is a picture of Roger Wilco, the main character of the Space Quest series.
Of all the adventure games I've played, the Space Quest series is my favourite.
I found this particular pic on the Space Quest 6 CD.

Awesome, I always wondered where your avatar was from, as it reminds me of the Dude in the Big Lebowski 😁
