I am not familiar with this game, but if it is like the CPC copy protection you will not be able to do much about it in DOSBox. In the future you should ask DOSBox questions in the DOSBox forum

No, there is not.

It is quite possible the installation program in question is not accepting your input because you are attempting to access a drive letter for which you have not mounted anything. Have you followed the 60 Seconds Guide ?

Alternatively, if you downloaded this game illegally from somewhere and are not using your original disks, it is quite possible that it has been "cracked" and has been altered so that it will never be able to properly look for its key disk. In that case you should ask for help from wherever you downloaded the game from, or at least examine whatever documentation came from the game regarding whatever method was used to crack it.

I assumed he was working from the original disks, given the error. It sounds like a "bad sector" disk check type of copy protection. If so, there is probably little that he can do about it, short of cracking it.

MicroProse released a set of "nokey" loaders for their older, key-disk-requiring titles, including F-19.
