Perhaps his AV?
Perhaps his AV?
i have treid the svn builds..it also crashes on that.
Did you try running the SVN build with the -noconsole switch, as I suggested? This should result in the creation of files named stderr.txt and stdout.txt in the same directory as DOSBox.exe.
Also, are other programs running properly on this computer?
How do i the noconsole switch?
The easiest way would be to create a new shortcut to DOSBox.exe and edit its properties from being a shortcut to "C:\whatever\dosbox.exe", you make it a shortcut to "C:\whatever\dosbox.exe" -noconsole.
The ideal way would be to run DOSBox.exe -noconsole from the command prompt.
Also a corrupt or non-compatible Language File cause DOSBox to crash at startup.
Klimawandel.
i found out the reason was that i had frorgotted i had a external virtual midi device connected to dosbox.
