Don't know a ton about them either (very interesting link), but in general I'm hesitant to acquire "obscura" cards if drivers/support aren't readily available for them; I don't know if that's explicitly a problem for this card, but it may be. How much do these typically go for? If they're very cheap (like $5) I'd say what's the problem, but if "they" want a reasonable chunk of change (like $50) that's a much more serious consideration - do you have hardware that it can plug into, drivers/software that can use it, etc? Or would it just sit on a shelf? Just my 2c.
