Hi, I stumbled across this :

It look slike it could be used to give access to the keyboard port of an AT mobo (486).

Is anyone having experience on reusing an ATX case to put old AT motherboard in it ?

Lots of early ATX cases have the mounting holes for AT boards, but lack the correct I/O plates making you make your own.
Ones that don't have the mounts you would have to make your own mounting holes or the slots will not likely align.

I use many ATX cases that accept AT boards and I just leave the extra space in the ATX plate area empty, or like AlphWing mentions, you can make your own plat that has the one hole for the AT keyboard port.

I personally don't like the one in the picture you have posted, plus the large holes look to big to be for a standard AT port...it would look better to just not use a plate than to use that one with only one of the large holes being used for the AT keyboard port.

I used to see AT to ATX I/O sheilds on eBay like the one pictured below.....

The attachment AT-IO.jpg is no longer available

....but now it is almost impossible to find them, and at this point I would rather just make my own out of a metal plate.
