I was trying to get the booter game Big Top to run and found that the game itself run very slowly unless I used settings for a much more modern computer than one would expect. I am using Dos Box Game Launcher v0.77 and DOSBox 0.74. When I use the settings listed in the "Booter games compatibility overview" thread I find that the opening animation worked just as I remembered it as a kid, but once I started playing it was extremely slow, with the character making on step every few seconds. Has anyone else experienced this, or has some idea why it might be happening?
