I've been looking to buy a Sound Blaster Live! for my '99-2000 Pentium III System, I'm looking at the CT4760 on ebay it looks very much like the Sound Blaster 1024 I used to have back in 2000.
I've noticed there are many front panel extensions which are for sale on their own, without any cables...

I've heard you can connect up the panels with a standard 40 pin IDE cable, without any notches - Is this correct and how do I find the correct front panel to match it up with the card? Assuming this can be done providing the card has the Front panel extension pins on the rear of the card.
Thanks,
Mark
