I just ordered one of these NIB (700 MHz, 100 MHz FSB), and the box says that it comes with an active fan heatsink. I need to order a molex adapter cable for the fan. I assume that the CPU fan header will be 3 pin, but is the header male or female? If anyone has one of these retail PIIIs with the stock Intel fan, could you take a peek? Thanks in advance!

Normal header and everything is already mounted cooling wise, just plug it in and go.

I don't think I've ever seen a 3-pin fan plug that hasn't been male. The one for my slot 1 Pentium 3 is male, and the one for my stock i5 intel heat sink is male. The ones you find on motherboards and 4-pin molex adaptors are female.
