Hi all, the subject line pretty much sums up my question. What is the best motherboard for an Am5x86-P75 CPU?

Thanks in advance. 😎

I think you're going to get a different answer from everyone. I have this obscure Kou Sheng Computer Co., Ltd motherboard that runs rock solid stable with a Am5x86-P75 @ 150Mhz with a x3 multiplier and 1:1 50Mhz FSB, It never crashed and was fast so that's my pick 😀

Maybe quality boards like a Biostar MB8433 or ECS UM8810 could do a better job but good luck finding one reasonably priced.

You can check the vogons VGA database for results:

Personally I would settle for an IntelDX4. More motherboard support it and support it with all its features. The AMD is faster but it doesn't make games that lag on the IntelDX4 any smoother. For that you have to go straight to a Pentium.
