Command & Conquer (fthe first & the best one) is not even installing. Nor setup or install are running under XP (Athlon XP 1,67; 640ram)
Windows or DOS ver?
to run DOS installation there is an "install.exe", for Windows - "setup.exe", not one of them works. DOS window opens in both cases and closes in a few secs...
exactly the same problem for me here, ive got vers. 1.05 and Win2k SP 4.0

It may be worth trying to install the game using Dosbox and then running with VDMSound?
yes, i also tryed it on XP, will not run, open, black scren for about 3 seconds, then closes, can anyone help us? and its the original C&C, there was C&C gold, that was a windows version, but yeah, i dont have that. so if this game will work oneday, with your software, it will rock.
