What was the last game you completed or at least made significant progress into recently on your retro machine? Not super "retro" but mine is American McGee's Alice (2000). It uses the same engine as Quake 3 and the artistic quality is quite nice, fun gameplay too.

Terminus.... An elite style game, with trading, mining, and all that, that is set in earths solar system.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminus_%28video_game%29
You can't leave it, planets are connected by gates, or you can actually spend Real world time, traveling between them and not use the warp gates.
Which is really dumb as the most of the ships don't go faster then 24kms 🤣.
I consider it a retro game... it supports glide... It also runs on linux too.
Which is rare for an older game, heck its rare for games now.
This is one of the rare space sims where using 2-Flight sticks is a must for accurate control too.

Was trying to find videos of it on YouTube, and only found 2. 🙁

Oh I was going to say, if you like to play Press Your Luck on a retro system then more power to you right? Hahaha! That game you linked on the other hand looks much more interesting. Old school fps!

Yea Terminus is fairly obscure now 🙁
It was a small game back in the day from a small team.
It has a Wonderful Red-book audio sound-track.
If you ever find it forsale its worth picking up, it ranks as one of the best Space sims in my collection, and it doesn't even leave Earth's solar system, like most sims.

I think I'm going to have to try Terminus, I love the elite series with my fav being Elite 2 (to look at at least since I can barely play it. 😜 ).

Check me out at Transcendental Airwaves on Youtube! Fast-food sucks!

I found the demo for Terminus on fileplanet.
http://www.fileplanet.com/45482/download/Terminus-Demo-v1.2
They also have the patch.
http://www.fileplanet.com/49727/40000/fileinf … -to-version-1.8
Grab them before fileplanet goes completely under, its difficult to navigate the site anymore.
