Hi, I am trying to play the game Blood (By Monolith) and when I try to play it with the Midi music, it always finds a CD, even with no CD in the drive, it says Audio Tracks found as the game is loading yet I have no cd in both of my CD drives. Is there any fix for this?

There could be a no-cd patch online somewhere. You'll have to find it, since I suspect linking it here would violate the TOS.

I mean, the game runs. But no music plays, CD music plays with the CD in the drive. But without the CD no music plays, even Midi. And I run DOS. Windows 98.

Try booting directly to DOS without loading CD-ROM drivers.

This works, it's only if I have my CD Drives enabled.

This behavior is normal for this game. I also experience it. Maybe an unfixed bug...

Alright. So I would have to use DosBox on my main rig to use midi?
EDIT: I found a workaround. If you launch the game with the "-nocd" parameter through a shortcut Midi works!

This only happens with SB16 Emulation drivers loaded... Hm.

Well, running CD drivers (oakcdrom.sys) through config.sys and autoexec.bat that work in DOS for me fix it.

Still having this issue, for some reason in DOS mode when booting Blood says "CD-ROM drive initialized, Audio tracks found." Loading the standard oakcdrom.sys.
