It has Direct3D support and so on.

I try to use my Logitech G27 with NFS 1 SE.

The dosbox detects the G27 as 5 axis, 23 buttons, 1 hat and loads it as a 4 axis joystick.

I used the jcu program by NFS and it allows 4 axis (z and r axis are supported - no combined pedal axis necessary)

I saved it and started NFS. NFS started with the joystick calibration menu - so it detected my wheel. But it just doesnt let me calibrate it - even no reaction to anything. 🙁
I tried with combined pedal axis - didnt work either.
I tried in conf timed=false - no change
tried swap34 option - no change.
tried other joystick type than auto - but then it doesnt get detected/loaded at all. Only 4axis or auto does work (and auto uses 4axis). fcs and ch I didnt try yet though.

any idea? 🙁

I'm unsure if its dosbox or NFS related - so I'm unsure if posted here or in games section would be correct xD
