Not all boards are expensive.
I bought a PC-Chips M577 Baby AT board for ~10 Euro on Ebay last year and I have seen other M577 go for simular prices.
While beeing a PC-Chips board it uses VIA Apollo MVP3 and has 1mb cache that can cache 256MB memory.
No "Soft Menu" for the FSB settings but its rock stable at 100 MHz FSB. I use mine with a K6-2@500 and a Voodoo Banshee.
The M577 has K6-2/3+ support with a bios from this page. (Some say they work with the lastest official bios aswell)
