hello yes i want to play doom using this tutorial

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php? … 371&postcount=3

and the first thing I realize is that it sucks and doesn't work! I've had little sleep over this and I want it solved.

when I type "\cd dos" it gives me the same bloody error message!

unable to change to: dos
unable to change to: dos
unable to change to: dos
unable to change to: dos
unable to change to: dos

am I annoying you yet? yes this infuriates me as well. for a 4$ product I am angered by the fact that I can't even to the most basic of tasks without this crap.

We have nothing to do with DOSBox turbo.

We support DosBox for the PC which is free.

The error you're receiving is telling you that it cannot find the "DOS" folder. So either tell it to use another folder or create the folder.

thank you for the reply. I think turbo is broken because it cannot find any folder. it is essentially blind

Does Turbo require you to mount folders?

If so then you'll need to perform a mount

Mount c c:\dosbox
C:
cd dos

The above assumes DOSBox for the PC.

I don't know anything about how Turbo does it.

The instructions are just incomplete, I'm sure Dosbox Turbo can nicely run Doom if the mountings are done properly...

You have the slash in the wrong place.

Well you don't really need the slash in there at all unless you are giving the full path.
