Just won a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI on Ebay, I want to know if it would work correctly with High speed processors (Like a 2.8 Ghz one)

Another question, at the bottom of this http://falconfly.de/identify-3dfx.htm page it says "DONT USE THE FUCKING 2s OR BANSHEES IN A P4" but it says it has been seen to a lesser extent on 3s, I want to know if I can use this without frying the card.
Here's the card trOmRox.png
The system has fine cooling, never had problems in my 10 years of using it.

They are talking about AGP bus and not PCI bus. You will be fine on a PCI bus.

Gateway 2000 Case and 200-Watt PSU
Intel SE440BX-2 Motherboard
Intel Pentium III 450 CPU
Micron 384MB SDRAM (3x128)
Compaq Voodoo3 3500 TV Graphics Card
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card
Western Digital 7200-RPM, 8MB-Cache, 160GB Hard Drive
Windows 98 SE

I didn't have a thermal meltdown with my uncooled Voodoo2 in my P4. It did die inside a P2 though. 2014 is the year of the dying voodoo2s

When the Voodoo Banshee and Voodoo3s came out, they were still severely CPU bottlenecked at the time thinking they wouldn't need anything more than passive cooling.

I'll have to keep my fingers crossed, then. I'm about to redo my P4 Northwood build so I can install my second Voodoo 2 (the first one is in my Socket 7 build and still working just fine).

Ooohh, the pain......
