I have few dos-games tuned-up and working fine with the latest VDMSound (Blood, Shadow Warrior, Settlers 2 etc.), using XP Pro.
But seems like connecting to internet (56k dial-up) somehow messes up VDMSound so that it won't work until I have rebooted PC after surfing. When online I'm using Sygate Personal Firewall, but it doesn't help even if I unload it and stop the whole service after closing the connection, so I doubt Sygate is causing it.
Bloond and SW will lock up in first gfx screen but other games won't get even this far and lock up right after all that VDMSound-initialization text. What in earth can be the problem here, wild tips anyone?
I haven't enabled any SVGA or network support in VDMSound shortcut's properties.
