What was the first PC faster than 4.77 Mhz? Was it the AT or did the "turbo XT" clones come earlier?
I remember "Juko" (or something like it) XT boards clocked for 10 MHz.

I'm not sure what you mean by this question? The first IBM PC 5150 was 4.77 mhz. There were plenty of 8mhz XT's after that NEC V20 among them before the IBM AT was released.

I know that the first clone of the IBM PC was made by Columbia Data Products. There were also many early clones that were not 100% PC compatible. It might be worth digging through the Byte archives to find the answer.
It may be the Compaq Deskpro, which used an 8086 at 7.16MHz.
There was also another 8086 machine called "Stearns PC", but not sure what speed it ran at. They both appeared to be 100% compatibles.

I understand I'm not adding much to your quest, but I believe we should be searching for the first IBM clone that used an 8088 version >4.77MHz.
I don't know if any clone actually ever used the 8088-2 or directly the 8080 @10MHz, but definitely there were such clones manufactured before IBM made available its first AT machine.
