Whenever I try to reset my DOSbox options, I get this message

Warning: dosbox.conf exists in current working directory.
This will override the configuration file at runtime.

And when I reset my keymapper, I get this message

Warning: dosbox.conf exists in current working directory.
keymapping may not be properly reset
Please reset the configuration as well and delete the dosbox.conf

I've uninstalled and re installed dosbox as well as delete the .conf file in dosbox appdata folder
Can anyone help me with this?

Is it the stable, official binary?
Dosbox-0.74.conf is the one generated at appdata\local for the latest official version.
Just like the message says, I'd look for a plain dosbox.conf in the folder wherever DosBox is installed/decompressed.

There is no .conf file where i installed DosBox. I've also tried deleting the .conf file in AppData\Local\DOSBox folder.
My version is 0.74 that I got from the DosBox main site in case you needed to know.

I just figured out what happened. There was a dosbox.conf file in AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74. I deleted it and now everything works.
