I need help with mounting Daggerfall! I had previously been able to do it, but now when I try mount c c:/dosgames/df -freesize 1000 it gives me this message:

"Directory c:/dosgames/df doesn't exsist"

I have dosgames and the daggerfall files set on my C drive, so the folder and directory is there. I tried automounting it and that still didn't do any good. Please someone help! I really want to play Daggerfall! Also I'm running it on Windows 8 and I have memsize as directed by Bethesda set at 32.

If running daggerfall in dosbox is too troublesome for you, they have installers on the net like here:http://wiwiki.wiwiland.net/index.php?title=Da … gerfallSetup_EN It's an exe file and it installs easily. It also, in my experience running daggerfall, is better performance that running it in dosbox.

Main: AMD FX 6300 six core 3.5ghz (OC 4ghz)
16gb DDR3, Nvidia Geforce GT740 4gb Gfx card, running Win7 Ultimate x64
Linux: AMD Athlon 64 4000+, 1.5GB DDR, Nvidia Quadro FX1700 running Debian Jessie 8.4.0

This packaged installation is using DOSBox, so your claim of better performance than DOSBox is puzzling.

I meant running it by downloading the freeware game from bethesda's website and running it via commands.

The point is that you're using DOSBox either way -- the difference is you configuring the game and DOSBox yourself or someone having done it for you.
