Hi,

I'm wondering whether VDM sound will run with any emulators?

I've got one called T3 which runs old Dragon 32 games but theres the sound doesnt work. The read me suggests I need to set the sound blaster however as I'm running Windows XP I dont have a sound blaster so figured I could use VDMSound to emulate it.

But I dont know if I can. Anyone help or advise how I can set it up so I can run it in line with an emulator?

Well, if it's a dos program like it sounds it should run with vdmsound if it runs with novoice without vdmsound. Ofcourse looking for a windows version would be a good choice but if there isn't one it's worth the shot. just try it. check that the vdmsound settings match with that program's settings.

Well now I checked their page and see that it's designed for a 386 computer. So I think using dosbox is a great choice too. Should run fine there.

I think if it runs fine on windows without sounds it should run ok with sound if you use vdmsound. Good luck 😀

thanks.

I went into the program (t3-100), right clicked and loaded using VDMS - loaded fine.

However still no sound. I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing it right though

Any chance of a step by step?

(sorry)

(ps - I've read the step by step in the beginners section - didnt help unfortunately)
