I am trying to use gDosbox v0.74 on an Android Samsung Tab3 SMT1110 tablet to decipher a self decrypting PGP file, written with Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3 for Windows. The file is a *.exe. I get "this program cannot be run in DOS mode". However if I start up a dosbox on a Windows pc, by entering "cmd", the deciphering works without a problem. Like when deciphering straight in Windows, a window comes up requiring the password of the encrypted file. I think this means that de encrypted file needs some Windows dll or routine that gDosbox does not have. Can I add that somehow ?

the program is a windows console program, not a dos program.

Agreed, you're going to need to not use DOSBox and instead use a true PC emulator for Android to emulate a licensed copy of Windows (whatever Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3 minimally requires, probably XP or higher). Or maybe WINE for Android if there is such a thing.

Side note, people confusing "DOSBox" the MS-DOS "emulator" and "a DOS box" (as Windows command prompt windows are still seemingly colloquially called) happens all too depressingly too often. 🙁
