I'm not sure if this problem is VDMSound related, but here it is anyway. I installed VDMSound and then used it to install ROTH. When I ran the install program with VDMSound, everything was fine. I noticed, however, that if I select some other window and then go back to the DOS window, the program is no longer responsive. Also, if I switch to full screen, everything looks the same, but doesn't respond, and switching back to windowed mode does not fix the problem.

So, I installed the game by just leaving it in the original window the installer started up in. After that, I ran the game with the default VDMSound settings. The program quickly opens up in full screen mode and I see the Interplay movie logo start to pop out from the side, and then it freezes. This could be unrelated to the previous problem, but since it went to full screen mode, I thought that could have been the problem.

I tried running the game with DOSBox. It did run in full screen mode and played the movies and went all the way to where I was actually playing the game, but it was extremely choppy and slow and there was no sound.

Please help me out with this.

edit: Also, if I run ROTH.EXE with any combination of compatibility settings and not using VDMSound with it at all, it does the exact same thing. Goes to full screen, Interplay logo peeks out of the side, and then it freezes.
