SB16 and DMA

I have a DOS application that I wrote a while ago that turns the sound card into an audio spectrum analyzer. To work in needs DMA audio input from the SoundBlaser (8 or 16 bit). From what I can tell, DOSBox supports DMA for audio output, is there any plan to support DMA for audio input? Or am I just missing something in order to get it to work?

Thanks!
Greg

Nopes no plans to add it and considering sdl doesn't support audio input it wouldn't be any use either.

Oh, well. If DOSBox supported DMA audio input via SB I would contribute my spectrum analyzer / oscilloscope to the community but I guess there is no point...

Well i think there's more than enough audio tools that run nicely in windows or whatever platform you wanna use.

I am not aware of a MS-Windows or X-Windows application like this that can run in real-time....
