Has anyone tried running a Cyrix/Geode MediaGxm on Windows XP? If so, what was the outcome?

I originally thought this would not be possible. I put in a cloned hard drive from a 430TX system into the MediaGXm system. This cloned hard drive contains WinXP Pro. To my surprise, Windows XP started up, installed some motherboar drivers, then asked to reboot. Upon reboot, I could not get back into XP.

I did get my Media GXi running under Win2k, never did get video drivers to work however, as soon as loaded they stuffed the registry. I'm gonna take a guess something similar happened on your XP reboot. My system is Compaq Presario 2332.
