I downloaded Dosbox to play a few old games, and it worked great. Then I realized I mounted my entire C: to dosbox instead of just the /oldgame. Now almost every program want to open via Dosbox, which is terrible.
I've tried "mount -u c:"
and Dosbox says that "Drive C has successfully been removed."
But this doesn't fix my issue.
I also tried the uninstall.exe but that too cannot be run in Dos mode.
I've read the README file and search the forums and FAQs, but it seems I messed up something so complex (or more likely too simple) that it's not explained any where I've looked.
I apologize to any and all computer literate for reading this.

OS: Windows 7
Dosbox version: 0.74

Mounting an entire drive is bad practice for various reasons, but this isn't one of them - the issue you describe is due to something else going wrong... try the first solution listed here: http://superuser.com/questions/362827/how-to- … ile-association
