This is a very random question, I know. I was playing Silent Service II on Dosbox yesterday, and somehow I pressed something that stretched my fullscreen resolution from normal to widescreen. Whatever I pressed originally screwed up the resolution of my desktop (Windows 😎, as well. I fixed my Windows desktop and no other program has this problem, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to fix the fullscreen resolution of Dosbox. I have tried Dosbox options, key mapper, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the program. It is incredibly frustrating and makes my games look like garbage. Any ideas how to fix this??? Thanks!

In addition, I have tried to manually set the resolution in Dosbox options to 4:3 ratio. It still looks stretched. This may be a windows problem, not a Dosbox problem??

System Restore did the trick. Kind of like knocking a house down and building a new one to fix a leak, but hey same results. Still no idea what the heck happened. Guess this thread can go to sleep now 😀

Yes, I would say that sounds very likely.

Exactly what happened depends on what graphics card you are using. There is probably some key combination configured in its software (e.g., the Nvidia control panel) to change the aspect ratio and/or resolution.
