I have Dosbox installed on my 64-bit Windows 7 computer. It seems to run fine. I want to use it to play King's Quest 7. I found some instructions about how to install it but Dosbox does not seem to be switching to the DVD drive. The instructions tell me to type mount c D:\ -t cdrom but this doesn't work.

D is the drive name for the DVD drive but it's a DVD instead of cdrom so I thought maybe that had something to do with the command not working. Can anyone help me with this?

You can't mount your virtual c:\ drive to a CD-ROM since the CD won't be writeable.

Mount your C:\ to a folder\directory on your hard drive.
Mount your D:\ to the drive letter of your physical cd.
