When I was younger I used to play this pac-man clone a lot. http://www.pixelcreations.net/chomp.htm. First it wanted me to download CWSDPMI.EXE so I did.
Thing is, when I now try to run it in Dosbox I get to the menu and the controls are not working, all buttons on the keyboard don't do anything. For some reason I can use the up motion on the analog stick and the confirm button in the menu with my PS3 controller when plugged in, but at the character select screen that stops working.

Is there any way of playing this game through dosbox or is it just a case of the game not being supported?

The game is working for me with default settings in DOSBox 0.74 and CWSDPMI r5.

Did you try with no active joystick or setting joysticktype=none in the DOSBox conf file?

Thank you! Joystick type = none did the trick!
The only problem is that it's running too fast. How do you slow down the emulation? Changing cycles doesn't work.

It does, it always does 😉 Make sure to lower them enough, for me around 25%-30% is OK

For me in this game all it does is fluctuate between slow and fast every few seconds.

Try different amounts of limited or fixed cycles rather than a percentage of max, e.g. "cycles=auto limit 10000" or "cycles=10000".

It worked! I'm not sure at which speed it's supposed to run, but 50000 seems fine.
