hmm for some reaon hadnt logged in last time....
I have been running the cd version of 1 for a few days now on Window XP config below:
Windows XP
Audigy Live player
Athlon 2600+
1024GB
20GB; 80GB drives
XFX nfocre motherboard
Sapphire Radeon 9800XT 256MB
VDMS 2.1.0
No problems whatsoever using General Midi for sound and usic and soundblaster Pro for digitised sounds. Works great sounds looks great...however.... when I tried to install/port it over to my laptop which runs WIndows 2000:
Tiny laptop
Intel pentium 3 650Mhz
384MB
Rage LT Pro 8mb
cirruslogic soundfusion CS4614
VDMS 2.1.0
using the same sound setup or any that includes digitized sound i get it crashing out and this error message: Reinstall program.t FONT9P.fnt
If i turn off the digitised sound it works no problems.
Not sure if this is strictly a VDMS issue, or operating , wasn't sure where to stick the post frankly. But has anybody seen this and could it just be down to the frankly poor spec of the laptop (well in terms of sound and graphics anyhoo!!)??
