Pretty much all the cases featured in this thread:

And yeah, that Packard Bell design is pretty... interesting... 😕

Looks like an attempt to create a single PC case for 2 different users; monitor placement would have been tight. Weird......

Here's an interesting one from million-dollar-pc.com

Here's the link for more pics and some info about it:

That stove/oven case in the 2014 topic looks like an epic choice for a Prescott P4

Crazy case? Any of the newer ThermalTake cases. TT used to kick ass, but their newer boxes look like they were designed by a kid with severe learning difficulties.

As for the Prescott P4, let me ramble about something. Back when that was introduced, we had a politician in the UK called John Prescott.

Mr. Prescott was the MP for the city I live in. Anyway, to cut a long story short, Mr. Prescott was about as good as any other politician and did little more than move around slowly and clumsily, cost the country a lot of money and produce a large amount of hot air... I always thought Prescott was a fitting name for the Pentium IV. In Mr. Prescott's defense, however, he did occasionally get mad and start punching people in the face which was entertaining.

that Thermaltake case is odd, is there any practical benefit to a case like this?

seems to me to be more of a case of trying to look cool (stupid) over actually making a PC run cooler or more quietly.

Love those Packard Bell corner computers though, Packard Bell had some sweet designs in the mid 90's. Those corner computers are probably the best example of their strange (awesome) designs. 😁
