problem with old app save

Hi;

first of all thanks for your time.
i am trying to use my old accounting program on windows 8
actually it works with dosbox it can open and you can brose and do read things in program
but when you try something to save (in any module) it hangs.
but most strange thing is dosbox keeps working as i can see.
i was tried run under c:\ olso c:\lks\
i was think about disk permissions. then give this folder everyone full control.
still the same..
ah before forget i was tried so many cpu options like old ones (386, or pc settings like svga etc)

This does not make sense.

This is not clear either.

In any case, if you are trying to run a non-gaming application, you should probably try vDOS first.

in case i was found about it after i was write this ...
then i was tired with vdos yes it was works but vdos seem more complicated than dosbox ill see.
any one know about vdos? as i can see there no relative detailed information on web and no forum.
