Hello uh... forum people,

This is only like my second time consulting a forum for help. As the title states, i've been having an issue with Mech Warrior 2 running on DOSBox.
The game runs smoothly at the highest frame rate, all sound and music is fine, but after the first mission ends it asks "press any key to continue" and once I press a key it just freezes. I can't exit to the menu and can't exit to DOS.
This only happens on the first mission when any mission end criteria are met (Aborting the mission, failing or completing it)
This press any key issue is not present in any of the expansion packs (which i've also installed and easily got running) or the training missions.

I've searched other forums, I tried updating the game to version 1.1 but this just caused the whole game to not work. I've looked all over and have no solution.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
